an official will:
  • Agree to abide by the code of conduct.
  • Be consistently objective and courteous when making decisions.
  • Compliment and encourage all participants.
  • Condemn unsporting and unethical behaviour, while promoting fair play and respect for all opponents.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends in officiating and the principles of growth and development of young people.
  • Remember to set an example with positive behaviours and role modelling.
  • Place the safety and well being of athletes above all else.
